QUANTIZER – a simple chromatic Quantizer
SAMPLE+HOLD – capture and hold a signal
SCALER – rescale the min/max of a signal
SLEW LIMITER – limit the speed of signal changes
SMOOTH+JITTER – add irregularities, smooth a signal
